One Week Out

Yes, It has been a long time since we have blogged. The last ten months have been a crazy roller coaster ride. We have had good times and we have had challenging times. I am happy to say that we are so happy to finally be one week out from our travel date for Noah's surgery. We have been waiting for this for such a long time. We want to say up front how much we appreciate everyone who has prayed for us. The Lord has really given us the strength we have needed to get to this point. It sure hasn't been our own. It is amazing to see how much of a miracle Noah's life has been. Most of us who have hearts that function normally would not be standing with the amount of oxygen that flows in his blood. We know that ultimately God is in control and He is just keeping his heart pumping for a reason. We will do our best to keep you all updated on Noah's progress. Thank you all again for all the prayers and please know that we are praying for you too. I am going to include some pictures we have taken in the last ten months so that you can see his progress. He is growing taller and has gained about three and a half pounds. He is still a funny little boy that is smart, cute, mischievous, loving and aggravating to his sisters. I guess that sounds pretty normal. (Just a quick note: the picture above shows Noah with his first Birthday cake ever. He loved it so much he wanted us to sing to him twice and blow the candle out twice. Don't we take the simple things in life for granted here in America). God's blessings to you all!
