Journey to China

This blog documents the Spitlers' progress towards the adoption of Xia Ping He (Noah Spitler) from the PR China. It also documents Noah's medical process in pursuit of a total repair to his CHD (congenital heart defect).

NVC confirmation received today!

We have great news!!! We received our confirmation letter from the NVC stating that the paperwork that will classify Noah as an immediate relative when he steps his toe onto American soil has been wired to Guangzou. This is yet another piece of the paperchase complete. We are very excited that a rep in Guangzhou will take all of the proper paperwork over to the US Consulate on Thursday. It was a wonderful blessing to receive the letter today. I will post my "happy" picture for all of you to see. Please excuse the wonderful outfit/workout gear that I am sporting. There was no time to get dolled up for the picture.
Our continued prayer is to try and not be anxious knowing that the God of the Universe is in control. We have been blessed so much through this experience and we have been taught a lot of things too. It is so amazing to me that the Lord cares so much for us all. He only wants the best for us even if the best is difficult. We have really tried to remember that we need to praise Him when things are good and when things seem bad. He doesn't change just because some of our circumstances do. He stays steady and we need to cling onto that fact. What a mighty God we serve!!! Blessings to you all and we will continue to try and keep you up to date when something new happens.
