Journey to China

This blog documents the Spitlers' progress towards the adoption of Xia Ping He (Noah Spitler) from the PR China. It also documents Noah's medical process in pursuit of a total repair to his CHD (congenital heart defect).

It's been one month

Well, it has been exactly one month since our dossier was logged into the CCAA. I cannot believe that much time has already passed. It gives me hope that the rest will go quickly too. We still have not received any updated information about Noah's medical condition so we just have to keep on praying. I did find out from our agency that our adoption process has not been affected by this news and everything is still proceeding like it should. We, of course, would still love it if everything would go quicker than normal. We will keep praying for that also.

On the homefront we have had a sick child here also. Olivia has had the stomach bug for the last two days. She seemed better and I was prepared to send her back to school this morning but the "bug" symptoms returned before we could even make it to the bathroom. Luckily she has had little to no fever so that hasn't been an issue at all. I think she will be back to her normal self by the end of the weekend. Madison is having a fun Sedar dinner with her classmates today in preparation for Easter. She was really looking forward to it and I know she will have a great time. That's all I have for now. I will keep you posted about any changes.

Thanks for the prayers everyone.I know our Lord is in control and He always knows what is best for us. God's blessings, Robin
